From the lunchtime special menu (available until 6.30pm Mon-Sat) we chose the duck pate and spicy sweet potato soup for starters and each chose penne bolognese for mains. The special also came with a wine or soft drink, so we selected a rose and a red wine. There was also fresh bread and butter offered included in the deal.
Cost: £9.99 each. That’s for bread and butter, wine, starter and main course.
Speed of service:10 minutes for starters, about another 10 minutes for mains.
Accuracy of order: Excellent
Friendliness of staff: Good, friendly welcome and cheerio when leaving.
Value for money: Excellent.
