From the Sunday lunch menu we chose potato skins, soup of the day (spicy vegetable), two roast turkey dinners and drinks of a diet coke and a pint of lager shandy .This was from the special Sunday lunchtime offer of £8.25 for two courses with desserts being only an extra £1 each.

Speed of service: 15 minutes
Accuracy of order: Excellent. A few niggles with the meal: The potato skins came without skins and were rather like chips instead; The turkey dinners came without stuffing, but did have Yorkshire puddings; The mashed swede was very peppery, not to everyone’s taste and no one asked at any time if our meal was ok – even when paying the bill.
Friendliness of staff: Very friendly and hospitable
Value for money: Excellent
